JAMMU, MARCH 26: Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today said Jammu and Kashmir needs quality infrastructure for development and progress and road communication is indispensable for marching towards developed and globalized society.
The Speaker said this while interacting with people during his extensive tour of Dashmesh Nagar and Kasim Nagar, Jammu to review progress of various development works in the area.
Mr. Gupta said both Central government and the State government are working for the welfare of the people. He said the Government won’t tolerate any delay in the completion of developmental projects.
At Kasim Nagar, the Speaker directed the concerned agencies to ensure timely completion of the works by using quality material.
The Speaker after giving patient hearing to various issues related to water, electricity and drainage raised by locals directed the concerned officers to take immediate action for their early redressal.
Later the Speaker also inaugurated a Pharmacy at Gadhigarh, Airport Road.
