DODA, July 21: The residents are irked over the worst condition of the road from Dilmahara Kota to Bash Dhar and warned to launch agitation against Sub-district administration Gandoh if the concerned authorities failed to maintain the road.
The inhabitants of the area said that the road is in dilapidated condition since long and no one from the authorities are bothered about it. The residents flayed the concerned authorities for not maintaining the road.
Mohd Arif, a local resident informed that the construction work of the 16 kilometer of road from Dilmahara Kota to Bash dhar on Jaie road was launched several years back, but it is not completed till today, which create problems for the commuters and the pedestrians.
“Due to worst condition of the road and lack of proper drainage system, the commuters are facing problems. These problems increase during rainfall as the road turns accident prone,” he said.
Locals appealed the Deputy Commissioner Doda to intervene into the issue and initiate necessary action, so that the people will have some sigh of relief.
