RAMBAN, July 7: A road roller driver was killed, while one another got injured in accident, here today.
As per police sources, a driver was killed, when the road roller he was driving skidded off the road and plunged into Baggu Nallah, falling under the jurisdiction of Batote Police Station.
The deceased has been identified as Khursheed Alam (30), son of Zahir Alam, a resident of Kishanpur Bihar. His body has been shifted to Batote hospital for autopsy.
Batote police has taken cognizance in this regards.
Meanwhile, a youth was injured, when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a Tavera car near Bowli Bazaar here, a police official said.
The injured has been identified as Azad Ali (22), son of Sakhi Mohammad, a resident of Bathan, District Ramban.
The motorcyclist was shifted to District Hospital Ramban, where he was undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Ramban Police Station and investigation started.
