DUDU, Oct 23: The work of a link road was kick- started at Latti town of Dudu Sub Division in district Udhampur.
In presence of two local Sarpanchs and other PRI members besides prominent persons of the area, the work was kick-started by a 91-years- old elderly woman, Krishni Devi, wife of Late Jagan Nath. This, nearly 800 mts link road is being constructed from Gali (Latti) up to Tada Mohalla.
Sarpanch, Kasturi Lal Gupta said that the funds were allotted under Capex Budget by the District Administration for the construction of this road. He said this was long pending demand of the people of this area.
On this occasion several PRI members and others including- Ved Parkash Sharma, Des Raj, Govind Ram, Rattan Lal, Sagar Chand, Krishan Lal Gupta, Khalid Hasan Malik, Mohd Abas Naik, Angrej Singh and others were present.
