Road work kick started in Latti

UDHAMPUR, Nov 26: On the directions of District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Indu Kanwal Chib and special sanction of grant on popular public demand, the work on one km road link road in Latti town was kick started today by the local Sarpanch and Tehsildar.
This new road with the cost of Rs 10 lakhs under MGNREGA is being constructed from Gali to Latti in the remote area of district Udhampur. Kasturi Lal Gupta Sarpanch Latti laid the foundation stone for the road work along with Tehsildar Paramdeep Singh, Block Development Officer Latti Atul Singh Mankotia, Beopar Mandal persident Younis Naik and others.
The Sarpanch said that this long pending demand of the people of Latti area has been fulfilled today. He extended gratitude to DC and ACD Mushtaq Choudhary for providing special funds for this purpose as promised during her recent visit to the area.
