MENDHAR, Aug 14: Some unidentified persons made a robbery attempt in JK Bank branch at Sakhi Maidan in tehsil Mendhar last night.
The police party rushed to the branch in the early morning when it came to know about the incident. The police party led by SHO and SDPO reached there and examined the spot. They found the outer main lock of the branch broken. The robbers however, could not manage their entry into the branch as they apparently had struggled hard to cut next inner door.
Some bank staff members had also arrived there. The cash and record inside was found intact. The police registered a case and started investigation.
