Robbie Williams buys Caribbean holiday home

LONDON, June 28:  Take That star Robbie Williams has bought a 9 million pounds holiday home in Mustique in the Caribbean.
The 39-year-old singer decided to buy the property after falling in love with the place when he and his wife Ayda Field visited in May, reported Sun online.
Although it is a large sum of money, Williams, who has a nine-month-old daughter Theodora ‘Teddy’ Rose with Field, felt he could afford it after the success of his ‘Take the Crown’ tour of Europe.
“Robbie’s been looking for a home in the Caribbean for some time. He thought about the Bahamas but fell in love with Mustique, and decided to take the plunge last time he and Ayda visited in May. He’s had a great year with a sold-out tour which helped sway their decision. Him and Ayda love the privacy of the place,” a source said.
The private island is a hotspot for celebrities. Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger has a property there, while regular visitors include fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and Prince William and Duchess Catherine too. (PTI)
