JAMMU, May 5: Registrar of Companies (ROC) UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh-cum-Official Liquidator attached to High Court of J&K, Syed Haamid Bukhari, in a webinar with stake holders and members of ICSI and ICAI local chapters discussed the “Companied Fresh Start Scheme” and “LLP Settlement Scheme” recently launched by Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
The purpose of the exercise was to increase the outreach among relevant stakeholders and create awareness about the progressive initiatives taken by Ministry of Corporate Affairs. This was the third subsequent event organized by this office. The meeting was held online in view of the outbreak of COVID-19 in accordance with social distancing norms issued by the Government of India.
“Such schemes are first of its kind opportunities to make good any filing related defaults and make a fresh start as a fully complaint entity,” ROC told stakeholders and added that these schemes incentives compliances and reduces compliance burden during unprecedented health crisis caused by COVID-19.
ROC further asked the stakeholders that details of both the schemes may be perused from the circulars issued by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
