JAMMU, June 30: Dr Rohit Lahori who was deputed by Government for AESCULAP Academy Fellowship in pain management Kolkata has completed his course.
It is a new concept of treating acute and chronic pains. This technique is used in treating back pain, knee pain, shoulder pains, headache, neck pain by identifying the pain generators and using advanced modalities like radio frequency ablation, nerve blocks, pharmacotherapy and prolotheraphy.
This is an advanced branch of medicine in which cancer pains are also treated. Presently there is no pain management specialist in GMC and peripherial hospitals.
