Colors have a great significance in Vastu Shastra. Sometimes, we all feel sad for no reason. Our favorite food doesn’t taste as good as it used to and our favorite hobbies bother us. We may attribute it to a bad day or just circumstances or stress, but that’s not always the case.
While researching the importance of colors in Vastu Shastra, Ramedial Vastu found that the colors around us have the power to make or break our day. They can change our state of mind; from fear to confidence and from confusion to awakening. Each color we choose has its own unique nature that has a direct impact on various aspects of our life.
Colors have a very important role in our life. It is the effect of colors that makes us stronger, fills us with intellectual consciousness and creates a sense of solace. But all these things are achieved through different colors. For example- Green, blue and shades of blue have the ability to awaken the mind. These colors infuse energy in us. These colors fill us with creativity along with positive thinking. If they are used in the eastern part of the north-east direction, they keep the mind and soul fresh. Therefore, the use of these colors in schools and offices is in accordance with Vastu Shastra.
Healing colors have a refreshing and rejuvenating nature. This palette includes green and warm earthy colors. Apply these colors in the north-north-east area of the house to increase immunity and to have healing properties of medicines.
Whenever we consider a person intelligent or identify him as an intelligent person, that person shines with a unique radiance and has a sharp eye. This effect comes from the grey colour in the house. Which gives us respect and honor without being imposing. Grey colour is also a colour of gentleness and happiness. Grey colour in the west direction of South-West enhances creativity and knowledge, hence it is advisable to use this colour in creative studies, art galleries and libraries etc.
Colors which help in developing sharp intellect and uniqueness are considered intellectual colors. Some shades of blue, red and grey can be used in the home to get the desired intellectual effect. These enhance creativity and practice of knowledge when placed in the west-south-west zone (education and savings) of the home. These colors also naturally command respect. Libraries and art galleries can be painted with a palette of these colors to improve their uniqueness and attract the right intellect.
Red is the colour of passion and lust and is considered the most romantic colour. It creates spark in a couple’s relationship when used in small quantities in their north-north-west bedroom, a less intense and softer tone of red is more conducive to romance when used in a bedroom located in the south-south-east zone of your home. Some less intense shades of orange, purple and pink are also romantic colors, signifying purity and innocence.
This list of colors also includes some shades of red. Red is also considered the colour of sex and lust and is said to be the most romantic of all colors. If a little bit of red is used in the bedroom located in the north part of the northwest, it can prove to be helpful in strengthening the relationship of the couple. Light shades of pink, purple and orange also fall in the category of romantic colors.
Green and yellow colors bring a sense of peace and well-being. When green is used in the east and yellow in the south-west Vastu areas, they promote interesting and open conversations among family and friends. They also help to overcome loneliness and depression and promote overall well-being.
Green, blue and blue-green colors have the ability to stimulate the brain and provide access to energy that inspires positivity and creative thinking. When used in the East-North-East Vastu area, such colors refresh the mind and soul. These colors are great for schools and businesses to promote positivity and creativity.
Colors that keep the body and mind refreshed and happy have shades of elements that are close to us. The first colour in this group is green. This is followed by earthy shades. When these colors are used in the north of the North-East direction, these colors keep us healthy by protecting us from diseases.
Blue and its shades among colors instill confidence in us. These play a very creative role in career, especially when used in the West direction. Using the energy of colors is easy, but it is also important to understand the relationship between colors. How colors react with each other and when they start giving positive and negative energy.
