POONCH, July 1: A medical camp was organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Romeo Force at village Ghani of Poonch district, today.
A team of four doctors from Army and civil were present in the medical camp and provided consultation, treatment, counseling and specialized medical care to the needy and poor population of all age groups including children, women and elders. Medicines were provided free of cost to all.
Around 467 patients from far flung areas of Ghani Tehsil and adjoining villages of Poonch District attended the camp and benefited from the facilities provided at the camp. Locals have requested for more such medical camps in future also.
The camp was organized for the locals from remote and far flung area where basic facilities of hospitals and clinics are not in existence.
