JAMMU, Oct 20: Expressing grave concern over the failure of authorities in redressing the problems of the people in the area, Welfare Committee Roop Nagar Enclave has reiterated its appeal to the authorities of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to immediately install street lights in the Lane No 9 and Mandir Lane so that the people are relieved of their problems.
The demand was made in a meeting of the Committee which was chaired by its general secretary, P K Peshin.
It said the people moving through these lanes during late evening and night hours are facing problems due to black out.
It demanded proper spraying in the area to eliminate the mosquitoes spreading dengue and other diseases and stressed on black topping lanes and roads in the area.
