Roop Nagar delegation meets JDA VC

JAMMU, Aug 8: A delegation of Roop Nagar JDA Housing Colony Welfare Association today called on JDA Vice Chairman and gave a reminder of the pending problems being faced by the residents of the Colony.
The delegation was led by Association chairman, Uttam Deep Sharma met JDA Vice Chairman in presence of other members of the association.
The delegation demanded, repair of undeveloped roads, starting of Community Hall/JDA Club for the convenience of the residents of the Colony, development of Parks in sector 5 and opening of shops in sector 3 and 5 which have been constructed by JDA.
Earlier, the delegation also met with Commissioner, Secretary Municipality and submitted a charter of their demands included, repair and renovation of parks, repair of road link to colony, removal of menace of stray dogs and repair of street lights and installation of new lights in the colony.
After detailed discussion the VC JDA assured the delegation that early action will be taken for the completion of the works in the colony on priority basis demand for which has been raised by the delegation.
Among others who were the part of delegation included, B K Sharma, Mohan Gupta, Vinod Vaid, N.L Bhatt, K D Kurhan and Shanti Saroop Gupta.
