JAMMU, Sept 16: A deputation of Welfare Association, Roop Nagar (Jammu) led by its president, Uttam Deep Sharma met Minister of PHE and Flood Control, Sham Lal Sharma and brought into his notice the problem of water shortage in the area.
He apprised the Minister the pending demand of the Association regarding laying of water supply pipes and raising other infrastructure in Sector 7, 8 and 9 of Roop Nagar Colony.
The Minister immediately directed the Chief Engineer, PHE, to look into the problem and solve it without losing more time.
The deputation later met Chief Engineer of PHE also, who promised to do the needful after meeting all formalities in shortest possible time.
Mulkh Raj Sharma, Nand Lal Bhat and JN Ralli were also part of the delegation.
