JAMMU, Dec 12: Rotary Club of Jammu City organized a camp here today for distribution of warm clothes among migrant labourers at the labourer hutments near Marble Market, Trikuta Nagar Extension.
The clothes had been brought in by all the members of the Club for men, women and children. Warm blankets were also distributed among the migrant labourers.
Speaking on the occasion Arvind Sharma, Sub Judge, Baramulla, who was the chief guest on the occasion, lauded the humanitarian efforts of the Club and said that such initiatives at the grassroots level go a long way in helping the people who need support from the society.
Besides others, Rotarian Harpreet Singh, Rotarian Anil Swaraj and Rotarian Ravinder Kaul were also present.
