Rotary Club donates ambulance to hospital

RAJOURI, July 20: Rotary Club, Rajouri in collaboration with its matching grant partner, Rotary Club Scituate, Rhode Island, USA, donated an air-conditioned ambulance with the state-of-art facilities to the District Hospital, Rajouri, here today.
Briefing on the occasion, president, Rotary Club, Rajouri, Ashish Langer said, “ this occasion is another manifestation of the fulfillment of one of Rotary’s objectives, and that is to promote health, by providing the community an air-conditioned ambulance.”
Zonal Chairman, Rotary District 3070, KK Langer, said, “ We are proud to be a part of the sincere efforts in raising an amount of Rs 10.5 lakh in providing this crucial service to the community and patients. We are confident that this ambulance will help in addressing the health requirements and medical emergencies of the needy”.
DDC Rajouri, Saugat Biswas, CMO, Rajouri, Zahoor Shawl and Medical Superintendent, Dr Bhasin, while receiving the keys of the ambulance from Rotary Club, Rajouri, expressed their gratitude to them for their humble initiative.
