RAJOURI, Dec 9: Rotary Club Rajouri facilitated successful implantation of a limb in a physically handicapped man.
This was revealed today by members of Rotary Club, Rajouri, while addressing a press conference. They said that Babu Lal of village Kha Jamola in district Rajouri was physically handicap with some problem in right leg.
“Doctors asked him for limb implantation but he was unable to do so for lack of money”, Secretary of Rotary Club, Rajouri, Umesh K Sharma said, adding, he then approached Rotary Club and after completion of all the formalities he was sent to Punjab where under the financial assistance of Rotary Club, an artificial limb was implanted.
“With God’s grace and after successful surgery and limb implantation, man returned back today and has been welcomed by Rotary Club” he said.
“We tried to give a mean of fighting physical handicap problem to Babu Lal, which is a part of our different initiatives taken from time to time”, Rotarian Amardeep Singh said.
Other members present in the conference were Zonal Education Officer Rajouri, Abdul Rashid, Rotarian Amandeep, Rotarian Ashish Langer, Rotarian Rohit Gupta and others.
