JAMMU, Aug 8: Rotary Club Jammu installed new office bearers for the year 2015-16.
On the occasion, the chief guest was Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East, who installed Rakesh Gupta as President of the club in presence of and RK Chauhan, Charter President.
The projects report was presented by RK Chauhan in which he highlighted all social projects which were undertaken by the club and promised to continue with the same spirit in the coming years too for the betterment of the society.
Chauhan committed to carry on the Rotary International Literacy Project “Reach One Teach One and Girl Education—Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” in the Jammu Zone and hoped for the support and help of Rajesh Gupta, MLA.
While speaking, Rajesh Gupta assured the club for his support and help whenever they need for the society.
MLA also installed new team for the year 2015-16. Sanjay Sethi has been installed as vice president, Sanjiv Verma as secretary, Rajesh Bandial as joint secretary, Vipan Gupta as finance secretary, Sanjay Gupta Segt at Arms and RK Chauhan as club trainer and advisor.
Rakesh Malhotra has been installed as Chairman, Club Services Committee, Rajani Gupta as Chairman, Pulse Polio Committee, Suresh Sethi as Chairman, Club Projects Committee, Seema Aggarwal and Suman Jaswal as Chairmen Literacy Committee. MLA Rajesh Gupta was also inducted as Rotarian by President of the Club.
On the occasion, Rishika Chauhan was awarded as “Best Master of Ceremony” by MLA.
In the end, the vote of thanks was presented by club secretary Sanjiv Verma.
