KATHUA, July 17:Rotary Club Kathua organised a function during the visit of district Governor, Dr U S Ghai along with his team comprising Arvinder Ghai, Narinder Pal Singh administrative aid to Governor and P S Grover and his wife Balvinder Grover.
The function started with inauguration of hoarding of the Club citing welcoming of the visitors at the gate way of UT of J&K Lakhanpur which was installed by the district Governor.
At the function later president of Club presented the welcome address and threw light on the projects already executed and further taken in hand for the year 2021-22. Club secretary, Indu Rekha conducted the proceedings and recapitulated the progress made by the Club. In the function 23 persons were decorated with the Nation Builder Award under Rotary India Literacy Mission.
The visiting Governor in his address promised to facilitate the Club to carry out the project of installing stitching Centre for females under vocational services with the collaboration of Singer Sewing Machines. Ravinder Sharma presented vote of thanks. DC State Taxes Lakhanpur, Ranjeet Singh was guest of honour.
