JAMMU, Oct 30: Under the guidance of its President, Dr Navneet Gupta, Rotary Club here today organized a free dental-care awareness and checkup camp at Government Girls High School Rajpura Mangotria.
Sunil Kumar Sawhney, Assistant Governor Rotary International District (RID) 3070 was the Project Director of the camp.
During the camp, Dr Varinder Singh, Senior Dental Consultant ASCOMS and Hospital Sidhra checked over 180 students and those having dental problems were asked to contact the doctor for further free treatment.
Dental kits were distributed among all the students free of cost.
Later Dr Singh demonstrated to the students and staff of the school about dental care and brushing technique.
Deepak Chander Baboo, Club Secretary; Sunil Kumar Sawhney, Assistant Governor RID-3070; Aman Sharma, Gaurav Vaid and others were also present on the occasion.
