RAJOURI, Dec 6: Going ahead with its noble cause under the project “Gift of Life”, Rotary Club today sent one more minor child of Rajouri for open-heart surgery in CMC Ludhiana.
In the see off ceremony, Rotarians from Rotary club Rajouri led by its president, Lokesh Bakshi, bid good bye to the child namely Mohd Sayeed son of Mohd Latief and residence of Choudharynar of Rajouri along with his parents.
The entire expenditure of the surgery will be borne by Rotary Club, informed Lokesh Bakshi. Bakshi also stated that under the project ‘Gift of Life’, the Club is searching poor children suffering from heart problems and is sending them for heart surgery bearing all the expenditure.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were KK Langer, Rakesh Gupta, Sanjay Puri, Saboor Malik, Amardeep Singh, Sadik Khan and many others.
