Rotary Club’s ‘Neki-ki-Diwar’ helping needy people

JAMMU, Dec 22: Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown fixed a ‘Neki-ki-Diwar’ (wall of kindness) at House Number-38, Sector 1-C, Trikuta Nagar at which winter clothes, shawls, blankets, sweaters, utensils, school bags, note-books, pencils, shoes, toys etc were distributed among the needy people.
Around 200 persons benefitted from the noble initiative and got garments and other items.
A handout stated that in future too this ‘Neki ki Diwar’ will continue to serve the needy people but the distribution will be organized twice a month.
Dr Dushyant Chowdhury, Sumil Goel, Assistant Governor of Rotary Club Jammu, Meena, Agya Kaur, Secretary and members of the Club and others were also present on the occasion.
