JAMMU, Apr 26: Royal Yamaha today launched its new model of scooter Alpha at Head Office Narwal.
Director Information J&K Tasaduq Jeelani was the chief guest on the occasion. Syed Ifaq, Managing Director was also present during the launching ceremony.
Director Information congratulated the entire team of Royal Yamaha on the occasion of launching of its New Model of Scooter Alpha. He wished the young entrepreneur Syed Ifaq a success in life. He said that the need of hour is to mobilize the young entrepreneur so that they not only earn their livelihood but also generate employment in private sector.
Speaking to media persons Ifaq said that the new Alpha is developed to target family customers with its concept of “Easy to go and high utility city Mover”. The new model is stylish and muscular and adopts an air-cooled 4-stroke 113 cc engine with CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) that delivers smooth start-up acceleration and pickup along with great fuel economy. Its key features include Good Mileage i.e 62 km/lt & Excellent Engine Performance, Easy to use even for female with easy leg reach, telescopic suspension and upright type rear suspension, Ample Storage Capacity (211) and excellent riding comfort for single and tandem riding with a flat long seat and large foot space for both rider and pillion rider. It is SIAM Certified.
The model manufactured by India Yamaha Motor (IYM) and marketed by Yamaha Motor India Sales (YMIS) is also available at its branches in Janipur, Hiranagar, Kathua, Udhampur and Rajouri.
