RPPF holds protest against pay anomalies

KATHUA, Apr 10: All J&K Retired Police Personal Forum (RPPF) held protest against pay anomalies here today.
Large number of retired police personnel assembled at Bhagat Singh Park here and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
While addressing the gathering, Ajit Singh, president of the forum said that the Government order regarding pay anomalies is not acceptable by the forum. With the implementation of this order, injustice has been done with retired persons who are struggling since 1996, he added.
He said that some of the retired persons have expired and the surviving strugglers should be given justice by giving the effect of this order atleast from 1996.
Meanwhile, a district body of the forum was also constituted. Sat Pal Sharma has been appointed as president, district Kathua, Bishan Dutt Sharma and Romesh Singh Jamwal as vice president, Sagra Singh as secretary, Sukhram as spokesman and Harbans Lal Sharma as advisor.
