RPWA for resuming of DMU service from Kathua to Katra

KATHUA, Sept 19: The Railway Passengers Welfare Association, (RPWA) Hiranagar highlighted various demands pertaining to Railway passengers here, today.
While addressing media persons, president of the Association, Ram Tirth Khajuria and its general secretary Vijay Sharma highlighted various demands and complimented PM Modi for sanctioning International Sports Complex at Hiranagar on the name of Late Arun Jaitley. He said it is a gift of PM Modi to people of Hiranagar.
He demanded resumption of the DMU train from Kathua to Katra for the welfare of poor laborers and employees working in various offices, which was earlier stopped due to COVID-19. They also demanded opening of Public Reservation System at Hiranagar, renaming the Hiranagar Railway Station on the name of renowned politician and MP, Pt Girdhari Lal Dogra, establishment of DRM Office at Jammu , opening of railway bridge workshop at Kathua. They appealed the Railway Ministry and LG Manoj Sinha to take in consideration the all demands in favour of daily passengers. Among others office bearers Rakesh Choudhary, Ajay Khajuria, Shanti Saroop and Virender Sharma were present.
