JAMMU, Aug 7: The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has announced the appointment of RR Swain to the position of Director General of Police (DGP), Jammu and Kashmir. Swain, who has been serving in an additional capacity, will officially assume the role effective immediately. His tenure will extend until September 30, 2024, or until further orders are issued.
