RRC flags off yatra to Taposthals of Mata Roop Bhawani

JAMMU, July 25: Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, M L Raina  today flagged off  the yatra organized by Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust  to Taposthals of Mata Shree Roop Bhawani and other prominent pilgrimage centers located in the Kashmir Valley from Talab Tillo here.
The yatra which started from today will culminate on July 29. The yatris chanting and reciting religious, Vedic hymns and bhajans left for Valley early this morning.
The yatris will pay obeisance at Taposathals at Manigam, , Waskura and Cheshmasahibi.
Besides the pilgrims will visit holy shrine of Kheer Bhawani, Hariparbhat, Shankaracharya  temple, Mattan and Nagdandi religious places.
The pilgrimage has evinced very good response from both Kashmiri and Non Kashmiri Hindus and this type of yatra has been arranged for the first time in last three decades.
Besides, the yatris will also participate in the Hawan being solemnized at Cheshmasahibi on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima on July 27.
Besides C M Dhar president of the Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust its other office bearers a large number of devotees attended the flagging off ceremony.
