RRC meets KP delegation, chairs meeting on employment generation

JAMMU, Mar 30: A delegation of prominent socio-political activists of Kashmiri Pandits under the leadership of M.K.Yogi senior leader of the community today called on Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner in his office chamber here in connection with genuine problems of the migrants.
The issues highlighted by M.K.Yogi during the meeting included bifurcation cases, minor additions/deletions in ration cards, relief benefits to deserving migrants, allotment of shops to the deserving unemployed youth in Jagti and other camps, problems of non-camp migrants, issuance of ration slip coupons forthwith, facilitation of filling of M forms of migrants living in Jammu and other parts of the country well in time, awareness about the Parliament elections in migrants by way of advertisement and publicity, prompt disposal of migrant problems at various relief zone offices and streamlining their work culture forth with.
Yogi appealed Relief Commissioner to address these issues forthwith for the sake of justice and equity and also appealed to conduct public darbar in camps and non camps for speedy disposal of public grievances.
Dr Arwind Karwani after hearing to the delegation informed them that various immediate concrete steps for resolving the genuine problems of migrants have already been taken which will yield the tangled results very shortly and assured them no stone will be left unturned in mitigating the genuine aspirations and problems of the community.
Yogi and Vinod Pandita appreciated the steps taken by the Relief Commissioner expressed satisfaction on holding daily public darbar so that on-the-spot resolution of problems is worked out on a prompt note.

Meanwhile Dr Karwani chaired a meeting of the representatives, especially J&K Bank Managar (Advances ) Rohit Kumar for advancing loan to the Kashmiri migrants for furthering self-employment to the deserving candidates at the Head Office, today.
The representatives of different departments threw light on various employment and other allied schemes which can cater to the needs of thousands of deserving candidates.
Dr Karwani after listening to the representatives advised them to serve as resource persons to generate more and more employment avenues for Kashmiri migrant, PoJK youth, Jammu migrants and other unemployed youth.
He directed the representatives of various departments to chalk out the dates for holding awareness camps at various migrant institutions.
The representatives of Directorate of Jammu Urban Development Authority, Directorate of Khadi and Village Industries Board, Directorate of Mission Youth J&K, Directorate of Employment and Counselling and Directorate of Handicrafts including Shivali Choudhary, Navdeep Kour, Rajesh Dhar, Archana Bhat, Tinna Sharma, Mohd Sadiq, Pinto Kaul and Vikesh Kumar attended the meeting.
