JAMMU, Mar 7: In a proactive move to oversee ongoing development projects, address community needs and continuing from his visit to various transit accommodations in Central and North Kashmir like Baba dariydeen, Wandhama, Ganderbal, Odiana Bandipura and Sheikpura Pandit Colony, Budgam in the week Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner, Dr. Arvind Karwani visited South Kashmir today.
Dr. Karwani’s itinerary included significant landmarks and developmental sites crucial to the region’s progress.
During his tour, Dr. Karwani also visited the historic Martand Sun Temple, reaffirming the cultural significance of the area. He later took stock of the progress of upcoming sites at Mach Bawan Mattan and Wantrag, Ranbirpora, ensuring that construction activities align with developmental objectives.
Engaging with on-ground personnel, Dr. Karwani met with junior engineers and assistant executive engineers to discuss construction-related activities, emphasizing quality and timely completion.
The visit also extended to Transit Camp, Vessu, where Dr. Karwani assessed the facilities provided to camp inmates, underscoring the administration’s commitment to their well-being.
Furthermore, the RRC held constructive dialogues with various delegations representing Mattan and Vessu, listened to their concerns and demands. He assured them of a concerted effort to resolve issues amicably, fostering community trust and cooperation.
