Srinagar, May 18: The Jammu and Kashmir Regular Rehbar-e-Taleem (JKRRT) Forum today threatened to launch State-wide protest next month over pending salaries.
The KRRT employees said the Government has failed to release their salaries from past seven months due to which they are facing immense hardships.
They said that the Government should release their pending salaries at earliest or should get ready to face agitation. The teachers said thousands of teachers under SSA working in difficult conditions braving all odds are reeling under agonizing conditions and the people at the helm of affairs have shut their eyes over the plight of these RRT teachers.
“The irresponsible decision makers live in cozy offices and nation builders are left to suffer and their families are on the verge of starvation. It is proving a herculean task for teachers to meet both ends,” they said..
They later appealed Chief Minister to look into the matter and redress their genuine grievance at earliest.
