RAJOURI, Sept 28: Some thieves have stolen cash Rs 1.5 lakh from the Ziarat Peer Baba Zakri Shah at Mangota in Thanamandi Sub Division of Rajouri district.
The employees of the Ziarat reported the matter to Tehsildar Thannamandi Sahil Ali Shah today morning narrating that some unknown thrives barged into the Shrine last mid night and decamped with cash from donation box. On hearing the news Tehsildar Thannamandi along with police force reached on the spot and saw the CCTV footage of Ziarat.
SHO Thannamandi Inspector Shoket Hussain registered a case under FIR No 130/2022 under section 380 IPC. He assured that all those involved will not be spared as police is investigating the matter.
