JAMMU, Feb 15: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray has demanded a compensation of Rs. one crore and a Government job to a family member for fire fighters martyred in Talab Tillo blaze incident.
J&K Shiv Sena leader Manish Sahni has said that Lieutenant Governor has declared a meagre amount of Rs. two lakh for those who laid their lives in this painful accident.
In a meeting here today Sahni informed that he had met the Deputy Commissioner Jammu and appealed to help the saw mill owner and better treatment facilities for the injured.
He further said that the old and dilapidated buildings of Jammu Government offices including the old office of Jammu RTO should be repaired immediately so that such incidents could be avoided.
Shiv Sena Women Wing President, Minakshi Chhibber; General Secretary, Vikas Bakshi; Shiv Sena Samba president, Ramesh Gupta and others were also present in the meeting.
