JAMMU, June 25: The students of the first batch of B Tech course at the Waknaghat based Bahra University have bagged a highest salary package of Rs 10 lakh at a placement drive conducted by the Pune based company Data- 64.
University Vice Chancellor Dr S K Bansal said that on the basis of a written test, group discussion and interview, the company selected 16 B Tech students from the trades of Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. He said that appointments were made for the posts of Digital Forensic Analysts, CSIRTP, Management Trainee and DEA.
On being highly impressed by the quality of the students the company’s Vice President Rahul Mishra said that Data 64 would once again come to the campus for MBA placements in October for Management Trainee at Rs 4 and 5 lakh package. He said that it is the first time that the company has picked this number of students from any educational institute in India.
