REASI, June 27: Additional District Magistrate Reasi and the Adjudication Officer under Food Safety and Standard Act 2006, Shiv Kumar Gupta has imposed a penalty of Rs 20600 on the traders found selling miss-branded soya oil and substandard milk and khoya.
As per an order issued here today, a penalty of Rs. 4500 each has been imposed on Hashim Din, son of Attar Din , resident of Sai Lanjan ,Reasi and Gani, son of Attar Din resident of Sai Lanjan, Reasi while Rs 6500 fine has been charged from Jagdish Sharma, son of Gain Chand resident of Gungus Talli Morh, Reasi and Rs 5100 from Wazir Ali, son of Kakku resident of Thanda Pani, Pouni.
The fine has been charged after prosecution of these traders by Food Safety Officer over the complaints of selling of sub standard milk, misbranded soya bean oil and for selling khoya containing extraneous matter.
