Rs 3.21 crore being spent on Tawi Front park

Jammu, June 10: Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority, Satesh Nehru, along with team of senior officers of JDA visited Tawi Front park and reviewed the progress on various development works being done there.
The senior architect briefed the VC about the details of the project being executed with an estimated cost of Rs. 320.51 lakh. The park will have an open air amphi theatre, walk way, fountains, exercise decks etc.
The Vice Chairman directed the concerned officers to put up the additional 8 kanal of land, near the park, for auction immediately so that good revenue is generated for development of the park on modern lines.  He asked the Superintending Engineer to put JDA sign boards on the entire land.
During the tour, the Vice Chairman was accompanied by Superintending Engineer JDA, P.L. Bhushan, Director Land Management, Chief Town Planner, Senior Architect, Executive Engineer and Chief Khilafwarzi Officer.
