Rs 4 lakh cash seized in Budhal

RAJOURI, Dec 18: The police seized Rs 4 lakh cash from one person and detained him for questioning in Budhal area of Darhal constituency today.
Reports said that a police party led by SHO Budhal, Parmod Singh during naka intercepted a youth moving on foot near Iddgah in Budhal town. He was carrying a bag. During frisking  the police found Rs 4 lakh cash in the bag and detained him for questioning. He was later handed over to the Assistant Returning Officer of the area.
The youth was identified Pritam Singh, son of Chamail Singh, resident of  Malikote village of Mahore. The youth told that he was a trader and running a shop at Mallikote. He had to deliver this money to some traders at Budhal from whom they used to  take Karnaya goods. He was yet to be cleared by the Election authorities.
