Rs 5 lakh looted from rice mill

JAMMU, Apr 11: Two unidentified miscreants late this evening looted Rs 5 lakh cash from a rice mill at Rangpur under the jurisdiction of RS Pura police station and decamped with the cash.
Reports said two miscreants riding on a bike entered into a rice mill at Rangpur owned by Neeraj Kumar son of Kewal Raj, a resident of RS Pura and looted Rs 5 lakh cash from the mill at gun point.
The accused fled on the Pulsar motor cycle, which they had brought with them, after looting the cash.
Police parties from RS Pura rushed to the spot after getting a report of the loot. Police parties were trying to identify the accused to nab them but no breakthrough has been achieved so far.
A case has been registered at RS Pura police station for further investigations.
