Rs 784 lakh sanctioned for Bhaderwah Dev Authority

JAMMU, Feb 12: The project ‘Development of Bhaderwah, Thatri, Bhalessa Tourist Circuit’ has been sanctioned by Union Ministry of Tourism during current financial year at a cost of Rs. 784 lakh, out of which Rs. 156.80 lakh has been released for implementation to be done by Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA).
The information was given by the Minister for Tourism, Ghulam Ahmad Mir while replying to a question of Naresh Kumar Gupta in the Legislative Council today.
Mr. Mir further informed that the work on Lakhanpur-Bani Basholi-Sarthal Tourist Circuit and Bhaderwah-Kishtwar-Simthan-Srinagar Tourist Circuit has been taken up and major components have been completed, whereas the remaining works would be completed soon.
He said a project for construction of infrastructure for various tourist destinations at Bhaderwah-Thatri-Gondoh has been submitted to Government of India for approval. He further said that for soft loans there was not such proposal.
Jehangir Mir, Syed Rafiq Shah, Muzaffar Parrey, Jugal Kishore, Abdul Majid Bhat, Ravinder Sharma, Dr. Shehnaz Ganai and Khalid Najeeb Surharwardhy also raised supplementaries.
