Rs one lakh, silver coins stolen from medical shop

SAMBA, Dec 14: Thieves once again decamped with Rs one lakh in cash and other goods from a medicine shop in Raipur Morh area of Samba.
According to the information received, Naresh Kumar, son of Hans Raj, resident of Balori, who runs a medicine shop at Raipur Morh, found the locks of the shop broken and the shutter slightly open when he came to open his shop in the morning. While entering inside the shop, he found Rs one lakh, two silver coins, a pen drive, shampoo, some medicines and other things kept inside had been stolen.
The shop owner immediately informed the Samba police about the matter. The police reached the spot and started investigation. The owner of the shop said “I had kept one lakh rupees inside the shop to give it to someone and had offered silver coins in front of the idols of God”. The local people have urged the police to arrests the thieves immediately.
