JAMMU, Mar 23: Mukesh Kumar has been appointed as new Prant Pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Jammu and Kashmir while the incumbent Rupesh Kumar has been elevated as member of the Akhil Bhartiya Karyakarini (All India working committee).
The significant decisions in this regard were taken on the concluding day of three-day Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi.

Mukesh Kumar was presently working as Sah-Prant Pracharak in Jammu and Kashmir since 2018. He has earlier served as Zila Pracharak, Vibhag Pracharak and other positions of RSS in J&K.
Rupesh Kumar was appointed as Prant Pracharak Jammu Kashmir in March 2018, replacing Ramesh Pappa, who was elevated to the national body.
Both Mukesh Kumar and Rupesh Kumar are from Jamnanagar in Haryana.
