JAMMU, Oct 3: Senior leaders of Rashtriya Swayam Sewak and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the State paid rich tributes to veteran RSS leader, Bhagwat Swaroop who breathed his last in Union Capital few days back.
A condolence meeting was organized at BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar in which the participants remembered services of veteran RSS Pracharak and BJP’s former State general secretary (Org.) Bhagwat Swaroop a selfless and a patriotic leader.
RSS Prant Sangh Chalak, Brig (retd) Suchet Singh, BJP State president, Ravinder Raina (MLA), State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, Chander Mohan Sharma, MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, former DyCM Kavinder Gupta, MLC Girdhari Lal Raina, Ashwani Chrungoo spoke on the occasion and recalled his role as a Swayamsevak.
Brig. Suchet Singh while remembering Bhagwat Swaroop said “this is not important that how long we have lived but how we lived”. Swaroop rendered selfless services. He was also jailed at the time of crisis for the cause of society.
Ravinder Raina, while remembering contributions of RSS Pracharak, said that his contributions were beyond any comparison. He said that Bhagwat Swaroop served the society and the nation just like great ideologist Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay.
Ashok Kaul while paying floral tributes to the great soul, said that Bhagwat served the organization for 75 long years with full dedication and spirit of service to the society. He said that Bhagwat Swaroop served as RSS Pracharak and a leader of Jana Sangha, Praja Parishad and BJP without any expectation. He also remembered Swaroop Ji’s resolve not to become burden on organization in his last days.
Kavinder Gupta and Jugal Kishore Sharma said that Swaroop Ji devoted his life for the service of the society and nation.
State Vice-Presidents Harinder Gupta, Arun Gupta, State general secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh, Yudhvir Sethi, Vikram Randhawa, Aseem Gupta, Ajay Pargal, Veenu Khanna, Sunil Sethi, Brig.(retd) Anil Gupta, Balbir Ram Rattan, Tilak Raj Gupta, Arvind Gupta, Jugal Kishore Gupta, Sanjay Khanna, Jaidev Rajwal, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Satish Sharma, VK Sethi, Chand Ji Bhat, Rachpal Singh, Hunar Gupta, Vinay Gupta and others were amongst the prominent persons who paid tributes to the great soul. Yudhvir Sethi managed the whole programme.
