RSS chief arrives on 3 days visit

JAMMU, Sept 27: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsangchalak (chief), Dr Mohan Rao Bhagwat arrived here this afternoon on three days visit of Jammu.
Dr Bhagwat was received at Jammu Airport by senior functionaries of RSS and leaders of various social organizations affiliated to the Sangh Parivar. After reaching here, he straightway drove to the residence of a prominent Sangh functionary for night stay.
Dr Bhagwat will have a hectic schedule tomorrow as besides Swayamseaks, he will be meeting with the prominent functionaries of Purav Sainik Parishad, VHP, Bajrang Dal and many other organizations  working in social field and in strengthening of the nationalist forces in trouble- torn J&K State.
According to sources, the RSS chief will discuss the prevailing law and order and political situation with the Sangh functionaries in the State, especially in the aftermath of Kishtwar violence and yesterday’s Fidayeen attacks at Hiranagar and Samba. He will have a complete feedback from them on prevailing situation in the State which is grappling with terrorism for a quarter century now.
Though the visit of Dr Bhagwat is routine and it was scheduled earlier but it has gained a lot of importance in view of the prevailing situation in the State.
The RSS chief will also address Swayams sevaks at Parade on September 29 evening. The meeting is also open to common people, a Sangh spokesman said here today.
He said Dr Bhagwat will leave for Union Capital in the night.
