JAMMU, Nov 3: Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) here today organised Shastra Pooja at Pounichak. Om Parkash Bhuria, RSS Gram Vikas Vice President was the chief guest on this occasion wherein about 100 RSS activists participated.
During the Path Sanchalan (March Past) RSS activists took a round of Pouni Chak area wherein the locals showered flowers petals on them.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest talked about RSS and informed that 50,000 RSS Shakhas are organised across the country.
He said that RSS came in Jammu in the year 1904 and its activists play an important role during any natural calamity or some major accident.
Bhuria asked Swayam Sewaks to cultivate the habit of helping others and be faithful towards their work and nation.
Others who were present on this occasion were Gopal Sharma, RSS Sanchalak District Jammu; Raj Kumar, Zila Vikas Pramukh; Sanjay Sharma; Vishav Hindu Parishad State Vice President, Shakti Dutt Sharma; Chairman Municipal Committee Gho Manhasan, Rajinder Singh Chib and others.
