According to the sources, the top RSS functionary will chair the significant ‘Samanvay Baithak, a coordination committee meeting of all the Sangh Parivar organizations, including BJP and take feedback on their functioning in Jammu and Kashmir.
Key functionaries of more than a dozen Sangh Parivar outfits, including Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Sanatan Dharma Sabha, ABVP, Sewa Bharti, Vidya Bharti, Jammu Kashmir Study Centre, Dharam Jagran Manch etc will participate in the meeting and give feedback on the functioning of their respective organizations.

Besides, regional RSS functionaries will participate in the scheduled meeting, which will be held tomorrow at the Keshav Bhawan, Ambphalla Jammu (RSS Headquarters) from 2 pm to 7 pm.
“Even as the Samanvay Baithak was already scheduled to be held for deliberations over organizational affairs and it is a routine matter, the issue of purported unrest in the J&K unit of BJP and reasons behind the same are also likely to come under discussion separately on the sidelines of Dr Krishan Gopal’s visit,” sources told the Excelsior.
Pertinent to mention that all is not purportedly well in the J&K unit of BJP and internal differences had recently surfaced over the leadership issue following which there were allegations and counter allegations on social media amid resignation of former MLC Surinder Choudhary who quit the party a few days back. The BJP as well as the RSS high command are learnt to have taken serious cognizance of the purported differences in the party, particularly at the time when Lok Sabha elections are approaching nearer.
Sources said that besides brainstorming on organizational and social issues during the Samanvay Baithak, closed door discussion on apparent wedge between the party old guards and new entrants in BJP is likely to be held on sidelines of Dr Krishan Gopal’s visit here tomorrow for his appraisal of the matter.
It may be recalled that before taking over the key job of coordinating with the BJP by Arun Kumar two years back, Dr Krishan Gopal was the pointsperson between the party and its ideological fountainhead RSS. He had been the RSS’s BJP pointsperson since October 2014.
