RSS think tank discusses Kashmir

JAMMU, Aug 6: As two-day brainstorming conclave of India Foundation- a right wing think tank, began today at Patnitop for discussing prevailing situation in Kashmir valley, senior BJP and RSS leaders participated in the inaugural session.
Union Minister for Textiles Smriti Irani, BJP national general secretary and incharge J&K affairs, Ram Madhav, also attended the inaugural session.
According to the sources, the participants suggested that nationalist forces should be taken into confidence while taking any initiative on Kashmir. They cautioned that any wrong decision would be disastrous for the nationalist forces across the country, particularly in Jammu region.
More than 75 intellectuals, including journalists, affiliated to Sangh Parivar, are participating in the two-day conclave. There will be total eight sessions during which agenda will be set to move forward in engaging dialogue with some groups of Kashmir Valley, sources said.
The RSS leaders sought suggestions from intellectuals present in the meet on how to move forward in Kashmir.
