RSS top brass in Jammu, holds meetings with Sangh cadre from Kashmir, Ladakh

JAMMU, July 14: The three top ranking RSS leaders who reached here early this morning held detailed deliberations on the prevailing situation in the State with Swayam Sewaks from Kashmir and Ladakh regions.
The three member RSS team led by Bhiaya Ji Joshi Sarkarivah the second in chief in RSS hierarchy after the Sarsangchalak, Dr Mohan Rao Bhagwat is heading the team.
The other two senior leaders of Sangh accompanying him included Datatri Ji Hoshbholay and Krishan Gopal Ji Seh Karivah of the Sangh. The Sangh leaders who are on a three days tour will hold the meetings with RSS Pracharaks  of the State as well as the three regions separately to seek a feed back on prevailing situation in the State. Besides they will also meet the BJP leaders and ministers and discuss the situation with them in detail.
According to the sources during their meeting with RSS activists from Kashmir the return and rehabilitation of displaced Pandits in Valley came into discussion and the Sangh leaders sought a complete feed back from the Swayam Sevaks from Valley in this regard.
They sought the feed back from them on rehabilitation of Pandits in Valley. The Swayamsevaks from Kashmir apprised them of various problems being faced by displaced Pandits and also expressed apprehensions of a backlash from separatists and militants. They stressed that displaced Pandits be taken into confidence before any return formula is set in motion, sources added.
Sources said the one place settlement of Kashmiri Pandits in Valley came also under discussion and it was suggested that this was a viable solution to return of community to Valley. The unemployment problem, problems of overaged displaced youth, encroachment of land especially belonging to Hindu Shrines and temples in Valley, problems being faced by displaced people in camps and PM package employees also were discussed during the meeting and it was suggested that the Government should settle these problems on priority basis to gain confidence of displaced people.
Sources said the grant of UT status to Ladakh region, inclusion of Boti Language in 8th scheduled of the Constitution, opening of Ladakh Mansarovar road and Chinese incursion in the region were the main issues discussed by the Swayamsevaks from region with the top brass of Sangh.
The RSS cadres from the Region said that Ladakh was an important region from defense point of view as its borders are linked to China and Pakistan and the Government should more concentrate on the development of the region.
Tomorrow the Sangh leaders are meeting with the Swayamsevaks from Jammu region and on July 16 they are holding discussions with BJP leadership and other  organizations affiliated to Sangh.
