RSS toughens stand, wants separatists’ security withdrawn

JAMMU, July 18: The three -day long RSS national Pracharks and Seh Pracharks Samelan (meet) started here in newly constructed Sangh office at Ved Mandir complex this morning under tight security arrangements.
The first session was inaugurated by RSS Sarsanghchalak( chief), Dr Mohan Rao Bhagwat with his address to senior office bearers of Sangh, Pracharks and Seh Pracharks which was followed by presentation of report on the working of Sangh by Sarkarivah (second in chief) of the organization, Bhiya Ji Joshi.

According to sources, four sessions including two in the morning and two in the evening were held and different issues pertaining to different organizations were deliberated threadbare in these sessions.
Sources said BJP national general secretary (Org) Ram Lal also reached here early this morning to participate in the three day Samelan. Besides him, over 100 Pracharks and Seh Pracharks from different parts of the country also reached here early this morning, sources added.
Sources said today various issues including the situation in J&K, North East, Nagaland and India’s relations with immediate neighbors came up for the discussion. The separatists issue in J&K also dominated the Session and Sangh while toughening its stand decided to exert pressure on the Government for withdrawal of the security to separatist leaders in the State.
Besides while deliberating over the developmental issue of the State the RSS favored that equal share in the development be given to all the three regions viz, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh so that there is no feeling of discrimination which prevailed over the years.
Sources said that the situation in West Bengal and Kerala where the Sangh activists are under attack came up for the discussion and a strategy to counter the same was also evolved. Sources said as the Sangh has taken up this issue very seriously, the RSS chief separately held a meeting with the pracharks from these two States but what transpired was not known, sources added.
The functioning of VHP was also discussed during the Samelan today and a complete feedback was sought from International general secretary of the organization Dinesh Kumar. The issue of ban on cow slaughter was also deliberated in detail and it was reiterated that the ban should be implemented in letter and spirit all over the country.
Sources said the stock of the activities of Vidya Bharti, Sanskar Bharti and Vigyan Bharti the  other offshoots of the Sangh working in different fields were also discussed and the respective heads of these organizations made detailed reporting about their functioning and achievements.
Sources said the Chinese increasing interference and its incursion on borders will be discussed during the second day of Samelan tomorrow and the Swadeshi Jagran Manch national president Satish Kumar will give detailed briefing to the RSS leadership regarding increasing influence of Chinese goods and companies over India and stress on banning the sale of Chinese products in India.
It may be recalled that through Swadeshi Jagran Manch RSS has launched a nation wide campaign for promotion of Indian industry and goods to overcome the growing unemployment in the country and also to boost national economy.
Satish Kumar in his report will present the details of the signature campaign launched by the Manch against the use of Chinese goods all over the country and also the losses suffered by the nation on this account annually, sources added.
During his reporting tomorrow, he will also make a presentation that China which is solidly backing Pakistan is becoming a security threat for India and the threat posed by China -Pak Economic Corridor on which China is spending Rs 50 billion dollar.
