JAMMU, Mar 27; On the occasion of its centenary year, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will run a door to door campaign in Jammu and Kashmir to take the message of Sangh to every nook and corner.

This was stated by RSS Prant Sanghchalak, Dr Gautam Mengi, Sah Prant Sanghchalak, Dr Vikrant and Prant Karywah, Avtar Krishan while talking to reporters here, today.
The Sangh is completing its 100 years of formation on Vijaydashmi this year and the celebrations will start from that day, said Dr Gautam Mengi. He said on that day the programme will be held in full uniform by Swayamsevaks (activists of Sangh) in all mandals and cities in the province. Next year along with the door to door contact campaign, gatherings, Hindu conferences, intellectual meetings and social harmony meetings will be organized in the cities. Literature will be distributed during door to door campaign. Special programmes for the youth will also be held, he added.
Dr Mengi said this was decided in the three day Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi meeting held in Bangaluru from March 21 to March 23 which besides other things discussed the year long activities to be taken up in hand and also reviewed the political scenario in the country.
In the meet another resolution was passed in which the atrocities on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh was strongly condemned and an appeal was made to global community to support the Bangladesh Hindus who have been subjected to atrocities, he added.
The meeting, while expressing deep concern over the ongoing systematic violence, injustice and persecution of Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh by the extremist elements termed it a serious issue of human rights violation, said Dr Mengi.
He said the Sangh has appealed the Government of India to continuously engage in dialogue with Bangladeshi Government and take all possible measures to ensure the safety, dignity and well being of Hindu community in Bangladesh.
He said through another resolution passed during the meeting it was stated that during last 100 years, the Sangh has earned unwavering trust and affection from the society through the values imparted by its Shakhas . During this period, RSS volunteers through love and sincerity have strived to move beyond pride and prejudice working together to unite all. “On this essential occasion it is our duty to remember the revered saints, the virtuous powers of society, whose blessings and support have always been our strength, the selfless workers who dedicated their lives and the volunteers for their silent services,” he added.
