RTC demands naming new Parliament House after Ambedkar

UDHAMPUR, Mar 12: Dalit OBC Minorities (DOM), a wing of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations J&K organised 3rd Round Table Conference (RTC) here for protection of constitution and democracy under the slogan of ‘Sath Chalo, Milkar Lado’.
R.K Kalsotra, Confederation and DOM president, S. Kuldeep Singh, Dr. Sameer Ch., Narinder Singh Khalsa and Ramesh Bhagat said that many such conferences will be held across the nation to educate and make people aware about threats the constitution and democracy are facing.
Kalsotra said that similar conferences will be organised across J&K.
Two major resolutions passed at the conference were to name new Parliament House after Dr. B.R Ambedkar and to focus on safeguarding the constitution and the democracy.
Other issues highlighted include reservation, prohibition on privatization, ban EVM, reservation in higher judiciary, reservation in promotion, reservation in private sector, implementation of recommendations of Mandal Commission etc.
Those who spoke on the occasion were S. Jaspal Singh, Uttam Chand, Girdhari Lal Verma, Prof. Tara Nath, Ram Dass and others.
