Jammu, Sept 16 ; On the directions of Regional Transport Officer, Ghanshyam Singh, an awareness rally was organised under by Motor Vehicles Department, Jammu today.
The rally was flagged off by ARTOs Board of Inspection, Jammu, Esha Chib and Pawan Sharma and Chairman, All J& K Transport Welfare Union, Ajit Singh.
President of various transport unions, drivers and conductors participated in the rally. The rally started from Board of Inspection office, warehouse and passing via Asia Chowk, Bikram Chowk culminated back at warehouse.
A large number of drivers and conductors participated in the rally and shouted slogans.
The main objective of the rally was to make the public in general and drivers and conductors in particular aware.
During the occasion, ARTO BOI, Esha Chib said that the main objective of conducting / organising this rally was to reach out to the masses and spread awareness.
Presidents of various Transport unions, a large number of drivers and conductors participated in the rally.
